Locations of Hives2005-10-12 05:51:21 AM off-topic4 I am running 2005 in Win2003 environment, all repository's are NativeII. I am curious if StarTeam can spread a repositoy's (or single server instance) hives accross multiple servers, as well as accross multiple volumes (disks) on the local server? Thanks, Keith Hollingshead XXXX@XXXXX.COM |

Thanks, I figured I could locate hives on mapped drives. I was curious
about UNC drives and shares as well: i.e. \\server\share as well as X:\share "Craig Stuntz [TeamB]" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM [a.k.a. acm.org]>wrote in message news:434d17bc$ XXXX@XXXXX.COM ... QuoteKeith Hollingshead wrote: {smallsort} |

Re:Locations of HivesQuote"Craig Stuntz [TeamB]" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM [a.k.a. acm.org]>wrote One thing that is not talked about is that you could put the hive cache on a different drive from the hive archive. I was told by splitting the hive archive and cache on to different drives would give you a performance boost but I have not done this.
