Hi all,
I'm facing a problem with a Delphi7 program that uses BDE components to
connect a MsSQL Server database.
I've been forced to create multiple connections (e.g.: TDatabase
objects) at run-time to face some performance problems.
Newly created connections are given as parent connections to TQuery
objects which may return a big amount of data.
The problem is the following: when these TQuery objects SQL statement
contains datetime constants (example: SELECT * FROM TABLE1 WHERE
DATEFIELD>= '12/25/2005'), no rows are returned, while executing the
query using the main TDatabase connection returns the right set of rows.
I've noticed that if the SQL statement does not contains any datetime
constants, the query is properly executed and the right set of records
are returned with both the main connection or a newly created one.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
baba
Solved, ignore the post.
Run-time connections weren't given the proper settings to use the right
datetime format.
cheers,
baba.
