Is it possible to access tables thru the BDE via the internet? I know you
can use UNC to access them via intranet, but how would you access them via internet? -- Christopher F. Re:Re: Accessing BDE tables across the internet
Christopher,
You can build a Web Server which uses the BDE to access and update data in Paradox Tables over the internet. You would query the Web Server as any other Web Server to retrieve data and to change data in the Paradox Tables.... this includes retrieving reports, etc.. Corel built a Web Server OCX which does this nicely. -- ... `?¸¸.·´¯`?¸¸.·´¯`?>rodney {smallsort} |
