One way is to use a VPN. However, if you are using Paradox or dBase
tables the performance will not be good. You should use a database
server or a three tier app. In any case you should not use the BDE
since Borland stopped developing it years ago. See

Christopher,
You can build a Web Server which uses the BDE to access and update data in
Paradox Tables over the internet.
You would query the Web Server as any other Web Server to retrieve data and
to change data in the Paradox Tables.... this includes retrieving reports,
etc..
Corel built a Web Server OCX which does this nicely.
