BDE Initalzation failed (15879) in Delphi 7 IDE

Hi,
I changed my Development Hardware and running in Problems. I have to
connect to Sybase ASE 11.9.2 using BDE 5.2
If I try to connect to the ASE Server from within the Delphi 7 IDE, I get an
error : 15879 vendor initialization failed. If I run the compiled
application outside of the IDE, I can connect without any problem. Does
anybody have/had the same problem? Is there any workaround / solution for
this.
Any help is welcome since I can't debug my apps anymore.
